Sea Mile 2018 is transferred to Valea Morilor lake

To the attention of all participants and those who want to attend the Sea Mile 2018 cup, please be announced that the location of Sea Mile 2018 is transferred to Valea Morilor lake in Chisinau. The sixth swimming championship in open water will be held on July 15, as planned.

The Sea Mile 2018 participants will have to swim in circles, since the dimensions of Valea Morilor lake do not allow swimming a direct route. Thus, the Sea Mile (1852 m) distance will represent 1 circle, Double Sea Mile (3704 m) - 2 circles, and Triple Sea Mile (5555 m) - 3 circles.

May you be reminded that the Sea Mile competition is going to be held for the sixth time. As part of the event, the kids competition Sea Mile KIDS AQUATHLON will be held, consisting of a 200-meter swimming contest and 1,5 kilometers running race.

The Sea Mile event is organized by the public sports organization Sporter and the most popular free ads board 999.md in collaboration with the National Triathlon Federation of Moldova. The Sea Mile Competition is included in the Official Calendar of Sports Events of the Ministry of Education, Culture and Research of Moldova.
